Maybe saving someone…

…doesn’t always mean to save them from their mistakes. Maybe saving someone can mean to let them fall, let them learn to remember how the ground feels, and then learn how to pick his or their or herself back up.

I’m not insinuating that one cannot have help while learning how to stand up again. I simply fear that we may focus too much on supporting every limb of a person that they forget how to stand on their own, while holding someone’s hand, not while being overbearingly cradled by hands.
